International terrorism: The industry of terror and horror

Paraskinio – June 2, 2017, issue 580, p. 56

Terrorism as a term appeared publicly at the beginning of the second millennium and was originally attributed only to al-Qaeda which organized the September 11th attack on the twin towers. Then, the term was associated with every Islamic group that would be in the best interests of the leaders of the international community. Over time, terrorism has turned into an industry that is being used or even manufactured by some international powers to justify a particular action or threaten another country.

Terrorism is internationally defined as the use or threat of use of violence by individuals or groups against innocent civilians with the aim of violating their freedoms and their habits for racial or religious reasons. This definition may include governments and organizations that the international community itself avoids putting in this category, confirming the exploitation of terrorism for various reasons, and not the fear of international peace. I will try in this article to explain the international hypocrisy and to reveal some of the secrets of the industry of terror and of international terrorism.

After the second Iraq war, which began in 2003, and because of Assad’s fear that the United States would try to overthrow it, his regime created jihadist groups he sent to Iraq to fight against American and Allied forces. In 2004, Iran set up Shiite militias within Iraq by supporting them with money and weapons to drain US forces in Iraq. After a series of secret meetings between US, Syrian and Iranian secret services, the religious conflict between Sunni and Shiite militias began to spread, the fire of which burns to this day.

In Afghanistan, during the Soviet occupation, US secret services supported Sunni militia groups, including the Taliban and Al-Qaeda, to combat Soviet troops. Subsequent reports that have been publicized confirm the US support of the Taliban and Al-Qaeda with Stinger MANPADS, which have contributed drastically to the defeat and withdrawal of the Soviets from Afghanistan. The Taliban, at the then US government, was the “pigeons of peace”.

Today, there are European countries that support Christian militias in Africa, which are tasked with murdering and ethnic cleansing, terrorist acts and crimes in the central part of the continent without ever mentioning the media or listing terrorism. It is the method of European countries to exploit the economy and the governments of these regions of Africa.
The terrorist organization ISIS, self-promoted as the beginning of terror and fear, is simply a tool of international secret services that is used according to their interests. Here I would like to mention a few figures on the number of victims. Total human deaths from terrorist attacks in the US since 1995 are about 3.500 and in Europe 543. During the Russian invasion of Afghanistan, the victims reached 1,8 million, while the American invasion of Iraq left 500.000 dead. In Syria, Assad, Russia and Iranian Shiite militias are responsible for the death of 95% of civilian casualties, ISIS for 1%, former Al-Nusra for 0.2%, and international alliance to fight terrorism for 1%. The conclusions are obvious.

In conclusion, it should be stressed that the media are only a means of expressing the views of the leaders of the international system. The reader should determine how he thinks away from the media machine to get to the truth.
